Well, it's been a whole week and Wes has gone without the "pappy". But he's done so great! I really think it was harder for me than it was for him. He had a few withdraw moments, mostly in the car or when he was tired but he's been attached to the thing for 18 months so a few times isn't that bad. The hard part for me was when he saw it, the "broken" passy. He looked a me and said "oooh pappy broke" and his face looked so sad, then I also had to come to terms with him being a toddler and not my teeny little baby. But we're both OK now and we will move on to our next task, potty training, in a few months.
